Is this a bug or misconfigured install?

Hi there,

Completed a fresh install of Revo advanced.
I have the manager in one folder on a domain: http://admin.mysite.com/
Fromt is in http://mysite.com

When I right click on a resource to preview a resource called test the following tries to open:
http://admin.mysite.com/test.html

Is this a bug, should it not try open:
http://mysite.com/test.html

Just want to confirm before I look at putting in a workaround.

My bad, I just needed to add two new Context settings:
site_url and base_url

What a great CMS.....

Now I doubt I will get away without a small hack here, but would I be able to over-ride the action that fires when a user presses the upload image TV button? I'll end up hacking this wont I?

I don't know of any System Event that fires there, so I think the answer is yes.

I thought as much....
Thanks for the reply Bob and great work on the book. I'll be getting a copy for sure.

Never tried, but "OnRichTextBrowserInit" may be of help, though I'm not sure if that just fires when opening the file browser through the RTE or also from TVs. Worth a try.

What do you want to do though? Just curious if there's not a better way to achieve it.

We have a file manager we currently use across several other CMS(s) (Bespoke legacy ones)
The brief is to plug into that uploader, but I think once they see the MODx one in action they might change their minds (I hope).
