Im not sure if this is a bug or if its been talked about before; Sorry

I have just installed 0.9.5 and after building the site through the back-end and then wanting to edit it via front-end the QuickEdit wasnt working properly.

After looking at the rendered source I noticed the files for the QuickEdit were referenced as: "assets/modules/quick_edit/javascript/FILENAME.js" thats ok as long as you dont have FURL’s activated and "Use friendly alias path" set to "Yes".

If I am in the top level then all is fine but as soon as I go deeper in the file system e.g. MYDOMAIN/folder1/folder2/document.php it no longer works properly.

After looking at the "assets/modules/quick_edit/output.class.inc.php" it references the JavaScript files and the CSS using "{$qe_path}/javascript/" again looking at the source code it misses out the "/" before the document path.

I have now taken out the "{$qe_path}/javascript/" and replaced it with "/assets/modules/quick_edit/javascript/" and it works.

Is there another workaround or a fix for this?

Try using <base href="[(site_url)]" /> in the <head> tag of your templates.
