Help - Cannot Install Packages - CURL Enabled

Hi, can anyone help me figure out why I'm getting the error:

(ERROR @ /connectors/workspace/packages-rest.php) MODX could not download the file. You must enable allow_url_fopen, cURL or fsockopen to use remote transport packaging.

This is a brand new install on a Media Temple grid, and I checked the PHP info and it says that cURL is enabled. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

You may need to check with MT support, it might be enabled in PHP, but use blocked with a firewall or something.

thanks AMD. I actually did call MT, and basically ended up just ading allow_url_fopen on to the php.ini file. The tech said sometimes, even though CURL is on, you need to do this. He said when I am done, to take it back out (which kinda sucks for my client). But figured I would post this in case anyone runs into the same problem in the future. It was a MT grid service, btw.
