Galleriffic fullscreen background?

Developing my first modx site!

How can I make the Galleriffic add-on display the pictures fullscreen in the background? (giving it a look like http://demo.andreaseberhard.de/superbgimage/demo.html"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">superBGimage)

Or; is there an easier way to getting a similar output?

Had a small eureka moment, so let me repose the question! laugh

Do you see any clear problems with chiseling the SuperBGImage javascript into a plugin for the Gallery add-on?

If not this might just be the start of what will eventually become Gallery.Plugins.SuperBGImage

The only problem I'm seeing is that there's no "counter" for the numbered links in the box, but I'm not sure if that's being used in the actual plugin code or if it's just there for fun.

I'm pretty sure that if you manage to pull it off, Shaun would be happy to include it in the Gallery addon. You should probably check out https://github.com/splittingred/Gallery/blob/develop/core/components/gallery/model/gallery/plugins/galleriffic.class.php and https://github.com/splittingred/Gallery/tree/develop/assets/components/gallery/packages/galleriffic20 and the gallerific* files at https://github.com/splittingred/Gallery/tree/develop/core/components/gallery/elements/chunks for "inspiration" on how to make it an actual Gallery plugin.

Just finished editing a Gallery.gallery.template so that it loads a gallery as thumbnails which change the whole background upon click. Which means I will continue the development with SBGI.

Next is configuring the template so that its easy to add galleries for my client.
--- maybe its possible to make a TV with a dropdown list of available menus.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I am still new to MODX, so I have not grasped the difference between plugin and package yet. So I am not sure what the result of this work would be good for. Likewise the "counter" comment also flew by over my head
