To preface, im a relative neophyte when it comes to ModX.. i took over website management for a company and it had already been set up, so im playing catch up.

That being said, I was working on updating pages using the manager as of yesterday... and it was working fine

today i went to edit a page and as the manager loads, i get all the pages listed on the left hand side, but in the place where the editor would normally come up, instead all thats listed is "PHP_EOL"

I have no idea where to even begin looking to troubleshoot this?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks much.

    Dave

I didnt list the box/server im running because im not sure if its necessary here and i didnt want to pollute the thread, but if it does make a difference, please let me know and i will post.

      Hello,

You will need to tell us about the server (apache, php, mysql versions), also tell us about the website version. MODX Evolution or Revolution (or 0.9.6.x) It should show in the top right of the manager.

If you know the hosting company that wouldn't hurt to include.

The thing up and fixed itself.. maybe one of the server admins at the hosting site was doing something to the program files...

either way good to know those things make a difference, will make sure to include on future posts
