Hello everyone,
This is my first post in these forums, and that said I am new with MODx. I have earlier experience with Joomla/WP/and some Drupal. But I am planing to switch to MODx for good. I have been testing and learning the framework (Revolution) and it really seems good. For my next project I plan to build a webpage with some functionality. Before I start I though I should post here and see what the more experienced members think, and see if there is some ideas how to implement this with MODx.
Requests for the webpage:
* Custom Layout (i really like Modx way of the template system)
* Tabs for access (i guess menu with some css)
* ACL, some content/menus hidden for some users (on the front-end)
* Possibility to import content from other page (ie. booking system) to a specific page
* Feedback (well i guess a normal form is enough)
* Forum
Basically, is there some Extra modules/plugins that would fit any of the requirements above? Should i go with Evolution or Revolution? All remarks/ideas/comments are welcome!
Thanks in advance!
BR, Pat
PS. If there is any extra modules that is "a must install" for a project, or that make development easier/faster please name them as well.
