When I access the URL Friendly area (system setting), there is no friendly_alias_urls key and when I set the friendly URL, the page will link to the home page. What's wrong?
I Intended to create the friendly_alias_urls key does not work.
    Thanks for all

This is no longer an option. If you have friendly_urls enabled, you are using friendly_alias_urls automatically in MODX 2.1+.

Thanks for you answer, but the page links are empty, then activate friendly urls settings, in local server i haven't any problem with the friendly urls.
I upload .htaccess and the picture with the friendly urls settings.
        Thanks...

        # MODX supports Friendly URLs via this .htaccess file. You must serve web

Is your MODX install in a subdirectory? If so, you may need to change the rewrite base.

I have changed the rewrite base line for this RewriteBase /directory, but the links are still empty, any solution?
This image is what happens when I clear the cache.
            Thanks,

Try manually deleting all the files in the core/cache directory and clearing your browser cache and cookies.

If that doesn't do it, try adding a slash after the directory name in .htaccess and, also try going back to rewrite base /. [ed. note: BobRay last edited this post 15 years, 1 month ago.]

Thanks for your answer, but I have deleted manually cache, (all directories), and browser cache and cookies. Then I have written the line RewriteBase /. (slash and point). With this, the links are still empty, the links generate by wayfinder snippet and the links written by me.
The links, written by me, are this form,
                a href="[[++site_url]][[~16]] "

                Thanks for all.

Let's back up. Turn off FURLs and rename .htaccess. See if the links work (after clearing the caches).

Check the error log.. if it's full of stuff about duplicate URIs you will need to update them.. This script can help you with that, put it in a PHP file in the root of your navigation and view it in your browser. After that your urls should work again (if that was the issue). https://gist.github.com/917662

Thank for your answer, I have created the script, as a snippet, in the root, and then I have executed in the browser http://www.mydomain.com/index.php?id=168. Then I have activated Use friendly urls, but the links are still empty. Upload the image of what happens when I delete the cache.
                      Thanks for all.
