ı tryed it with my other pc now (ff 1.5.1 it works but it closes image window when i click somewhere on the page instead hit close link
That is how it’s meant to work, the lightbox closes from the close link or by clicking anywhere in the overlay. Are you using 0.9.6RC1 by any chance and are logged in manager and have quickedit enabled? The latest quickedit uses MooTools and it won’t work with scriptaculous/prototype.

nah its normally close pop up window if i/you hit close link not clickin anywhere on the page
Nah. Lightbox 2 closes the image if you click above or below the image as well as on the close button. It ignores clicks to the right and left of the image however.

and yes iam with 0.9.6RC1+ quickedit active
will it be fixed later ? or never ? i wanna use that lightbox script with modx
Never. These two script packages are incompatible. You could go back to the previous version of QuickEdit from the 0.9.5 distribution, switch to Slimbox instead (which is very simple), or just not use both QE and Lightbox together.
Thank you all i will try to use that slimbox tomorrow and share it here how its done
peace out
you need mootools js library too

Glad you got it working. Slimbox looks and feels almost exactly the same as Lightbox, and as its name implies it is a bit slimmer if you use only the mootools libraries that it needs. Here are the modules required by Slimbox:
Native: Array, String, Function, Element
Window: Window.Base, Window.Size
Effects: Fx.Style, Fx.Styles (optionally Fx.Transitions)
However if you also use other mootools scripts that may require other libraries, you should take that into account.
