directoy structre entry point for a user or user group

Hi there!

Where can I set the entry point within the web server directoy structure for a user group or a user. When a user picks an image ore file, he can see the whole file structure. I know that I can set the filemanager_path system-wide, but how can I change this for a user group/user? The editors must not see all the files but only some.

On the Settings tab for the user, create a setting with the key filemanager_path and set it to the path you want. That will override the System Setting for that user.

I tried that before I asked here. That did not work. The user could still see all folders on the server. Do I have to take account of something special?

2.2 will support this via Media Sources - you'll be able to restrict a Media Source to a User Group.

2.1 and earlier have the filemanager_* settings; however, this is a bit buggy for User Settings with image/file TVs. The bugginess is why we moved to Media Sources for 2.2.
