    Hello,

I've set up new website on ModX 2.1.3.

At firsth I configured and personalize website on my developing server (called server1). Everything works well so I migrate whole project to destination server (called server2). Then I've experience some serious performance decrease. I've found that on server2, time of execution PHP files is between 7-12 seconds (image below)! While on server1 it takes about 1 sec...

At the bottom of each page I've put information about time and DB access and php execution.

    Server1: www.monitoruj.podkarpackie.bt2.pl

    Server2: www.monitoruj.podkarpackie.eu low performance

    Server2 phpinfo: http://static.bt2.pl/temp/phpinfo.gif

Do you know how can I fix this problem? [ed. note: jayartest last edited this post 12 years, 7 months ago.]

who is the host for server 2?

Some hosts have notoriously poor performance for Revo-based sites, in which case your only remedy is to change hosts.

This is private hosting, probably some VPS configured by site admin.

Do you know what may be cause of poor performance? Must be some reason... maybe some missing libraries...?

        • You could try running php under fastcgi vs as a module, granted that will change permission requirements.

I would be more interested to know about what snippets and plugins are in use.

Hello, thanks for reponses. Problem is solved. The reason was server and firewall configuration.
