    I use modx 1.0.4 and tvExplorer version:beta 0.7 and tvEditor 0.85
    I have got a list of references. That references have got a TV called "PLZ". It holds the zip code of the entry and takes only numbers up to 5 digits.

    my placeholder in the chunk for that zip code field looks like that
    [+tve.PLZ:fullText->true:label->:filter->6:includeTVs->PLZ:tvtype->text+]

    What give me headache is:
    How do I have to change that placeholder or tvExplorer call to show all entries beginning with a certain number lets say 48 if you only enter 48 or any other 2 digit number into that text field and click on the search button. Entries like 62481 should not be in the result list only those beginning with the number entered.

      Meanwile I found that explanation of how tvExplorer works at
      https://forums.modx.com/thread/27664/about-tvexplorer?page=2#dis-post-147067
      and several other pages but I could not find something concerning what to do to make tvExplorer select only such entries from the tv "PLZ" that begin with that number given in the search field no matter if you input a one or several digit number .

      At the moment I have got no idea what to do to make it work.

      My tvExplorer call looks like this:
      [[tvExplorer? &dittoName=`Ditto` &formTPL=`RefSearch` &dittoSnippetParameters=`tpl:ReferenzenListe|debug:0|paginate:1|depth:4|parents:5|display:20|dateSource:Referenzdatum|showPublishedOnly:1|orderBy:Referenzdatum DESC`]]
      [+tve.searchForm+]
      [+tve.dittoList+]

      Your help is kindly appreciated [ed. note: universal_next last edited this post 15 years ago.]
