I have a question about phpthumbof with dynamically changing images.

One of my webpages is a webcam network page. The images are updated throughout the day. I was wondering what to add to the phpthumbof call to update as the images update.

Currently each webcam has it's own page. On the webcam network page I use a getresources call to grab each webcam. The getresources template has a phpthumbof call in it to grab the TV in each page. Is there a way to update the image in my phpthumbof call as the image on the site updates. Currently this not the case.

You could try uncaching the phpthumbof call, but I'm not sure if that refreshes the image cache as well. Do the image names in the TV change?

Any chance you're updating images either with a regular save in the manager or in another way through the MODX api?

I was able to figure it out. The phpthumbof was already called out uncached.

What I did was change the webpage to be called out uncached. The images now load correctly. Thanks for some direction Mark.
