    Hi Guys,
This must be easy. I have a new modx site at www.mysite.com/modx with friendly urls activated and in the root is the original website that I am "replacing".
Has anyone a sample htaccess script so that if a user enters www.mysite.com or mysite.com they actually go to www.mysite.com/modx or mysite.com/modx but the word modx is actually removed/hidden in the url? I basically don't want the modx subdirectory visible in the url or when i click any links on the new site? Reckon many community members would find this useful!
    Thanks

You could use something like this: http://tips-scripts.com/pointing

Personally, I would just move the MODX site to the root, rerun setup and be done with it. One less thing to break that way. smiley
