.htaccess rewrites php to html

Before posting this I did a Google search and Modx Forum search.

The issue is that I need to rewrite urls with a .php extension from the old site to the new MODX site.

BIRC.php should redirect to services/birc.html

Redirect permanent /BIRC.php http://www.progrehab.com/services/birc.html gives me:
http://www.progrehab.com/services/birc.html?q=BIRC.php

Redirect permanent /BIRC.php http://www.progrehab.com/index.php?id=24 gives me:
http://www.progrehab.com/index.php?id=24

Obviously some issue between the FURL rewrite and my write. Could use that latter, but that really messes up SEO.

Did you look into redirector (http://modx.com/extras/package/redirector) for MODX?

Absolutely sweet. Thanks for the tip!
