Image TVs Not Selecting from Resources

    Hi all,

    Excuse the 'naked' account - my old SMF account hasn't been merged/moved to the new ones yet. I'm having an issue with selecting images for a TV in Evo 1.0.5. I've actually just upgraded from 9.6.3 to try and solve the issue, but to no avail.

    Clicking "Insert" on the image TV brings up the Resource Browser OK, but then once clicking/selecting the image the TV doesn't get populated. Haven't experienced this on any other of my MODx sites but this one, but we're unable to find the issue after nearly 12 hours of troubleshooting.

    Ouch.

      After a little bit of further digging, it looks like this isn't firing:
      onclick="OpenFile('http%3A//bandannaday.com.au/media/images/06.jpg');return false;"

        Check for Javascript errors.

        The only time I've had anything like this was on one hosting company's servers that had a restriction on how many levels into the directory structure a script could work. The resource browser (which image TVs use) requires at least 6 levels, and the server setting was 4 levels. Once the company's tech support changed the setting everything worked as expected.

          Thanks Susan, appreciate the prompt response. First thought is that I have another site with the same host, following the same directory structure exactly (just the domain name differs), and that one works.

          I've found the following JS error in Firebug:

            Just tried replacing the /manager/media/browser/mcpuk folder with a working one from the other site, no joy.

              As far as I'm aware, an image-type TV has to work within the assets/images directory.

                Hey Susan, no - the structure's the same on our other sites - we always set up a /media folder to keep clients away from anything fragile.
