I am trying to do the following.
I want to create a site where poeple can apply to become an author (i do this via the contact form).
Once accepted I create a new user for the backend. For this I have created a new usergroup called author.
Now I want them to be able to write articles but I dont want them to be able to edit each others articles. They should only be able to edit their own articles. They should also not be able to publish the article. All new written articles should be child pages of a unpublished page (i.e. articles in progress).
Once they have finished it they move it to a different parent i.e. (finished articles). from there i would move the articles into the desired location and publish them.
When authors are writing articles they should be able to upload pictures into their own folder. They shouldn’t be able to see other authors files.
The authors should not be able to edit any other page, templates ect ect.
Can anyone give me some ideas how i can do this?
I dont want to use a blog because I want pictures ect to be included.
