I have a list with 300 names and emails that I need to create webusers for. Is there a way to import this list into Evolution? I would rather not sit and create 300 users manually
This will be a one time only, just to get all the old members of the club into the new system.

I have seen inside the Websignup-snippet and it seems that I only have to insert into the web_users table and the web_user_attributes table to create a webuser. Is this correct?

Yes; user ID, username and password is in the web_users, and all the rest from email to status and login count is in the web_user_attributes. There is also a web_user_settings table that can be used for custom data; it has three fields - one for user ID, one for field name and one for field value.
