modx community features

i’m evaluating a bunch of cms programs and am wondering if Modx supports a few features:
does it allow users to upload content to the site and have a profile page? i saw someone asked about myspace profiles and it’s not currently available out of the box, but maybe the person was asking about having fully customizable profile pages?
does it allow for rating and commenting on content?

also i noticed a lot of the fonts on this site are displaying quite dirty - is that because of the font that the modx team chose? or because of the system?

You might explore the ppp snippet for the profiles. MODx does not affect any HTML rendering including fonts, so it would have to be our selection. We’ll take that into account for our pending redesign.

Would you like to share a screen shot? along with the browser and operating system you are using.
