I just noticed today [via a disk space alert] that a revolution [2.0.8] installation I have is saving session files in httpdocs/core/cache/objects/modSession/, 95627 of them.... as far back as May this year.
I took a look at the session and cache settings and everything should be expiring in between five minutes and two days.
Any one seen this before? Ideas as to what might be happening?
-thanks

I would disable the cache_db setting in MODX 2.0.x releases. You can control session caching separately with cache_db enabled in MODX 2.1+.
They are due for a software update anyway - I just wanted to know if this was a known issue for that particular release...
