Is there a way to use any RTE (wysiwyg editor) with quip comments?

Is there a way to attach a file - image or pdf to comment?

Should be possible to load tinymce into a quip tpl; I've done it with eForm and Jot. Since it's just adding javascript to the tpl it shouldn't be any different.
It doesn't even need to be tinymce, it could be any stand-alone javascript-based rte. I'm very interested in playing around with elrte, since I really like their elfinder file browser.
