    HI All.

    Just finishing up a website using MODX Revolution and have an annoying little issues regarding a drop down menu.

    The site url is www.avontimber.co.uk and everything works fine with the drop down menu until you select the parent resource labelled "Product Catalogue". Once on that page any menu link you click either from the drop down menu or any of the other menu links the home page loads minus the css.

    I think the issue is with the url as once you have clicked "product catalogue" onces every time you click another link the url has "http://www.avontimber.co.uk/products/page you clicked"

    Hope I'm being clear on this but if you visit the site and take a look the issue should become apparent.

    Would appreciate any advice / suggestions you guys can offer.

    Cheers

    Kev

      Hi Kev, add
      <base href="[[!++site_url]]" />

      between your <head> tags and see if that works

        Try using absolute URLs; the system thinks when it is in the /products/ subdirectory, that the pages linked as href="thisproduct.html" is linking to that page within the subdirectory. Either go to your wayfinder call templates and add in [(site_url)] or its equivalent in Revo, or add in the option to use absolute URLs, should take care of it.

        Sorry, I missed lucas' reply. Try that first, then this one.

          Hi Both.

          Thanks for your suggestions.

          I've tried adding the base href to the head tag without success. Thanks for the suggestion though Luke. Even though it's not solved this issue its made the links in my templates easier to manage.

          Will try using absolute urls now and see if that works,

            Hi goonz39

            Put the absolute url in my wayfinder call and worked a treat. Problem solved.

            Cheers for your help.
