problem logging into manager - been blocked

Hi,

I have a problem now with Modx manager.

After making a few mistakes with the password, it is now stating "Due to too many failed logins, you have been blocked"

So, what can i do? Do i have to wait a certain amount of time before i can login again or is that it, no more being able to login and reinstall the package?

Try the instructions found here for unblocking the manager.

reset the blockeduntil to 0 again but this time the message stays and i cannot login.

it seems not to be accepting the correct id and password now.

also, it does not send the id and password by email when using ’forgot password’.

anyone advice?

Perhaps md5 a new password? It happened to me when I first played with modx, I didn’t make any notes about it at the time, so I could be wrong

i’ve tried to change the password but i can’t seem to find the place to MD5 it.

my phpadmin panel seems to be different from other peoples but i guess this depends on the host. I’m with godaddy.

i’m really trying to get into Modx but if not i’ll go back to Joomla.

being blocked out all the time means i may have many problems with clients if i start using this for websites.

the send password doesn’t work as i did not receive anything.

now i can login with the same ID and password which it did not accept before!

what the hell is this about?
