I am total beginner with Modx..

This forum tells me to look for table "prefix_user_attributes" and field "blockeduntil".
But my version of MDX has not such table and field....
I have "cms users" with user_id, user_name, password, etc....

Question 1 : Where do i see the version I am using ?
Question 2 : How can I get the login working ?

    THNAKS GUYS!

      Hi,

What version of modx do you have?
Why don't you use the recover password functionality?

        Thanks for this reply.
You are probably right, it may be a simple password mistake; although I type What I have in the user table.
Where is the "reset function" ?
Can we continue on a private mail ?

The value in the user table is a hash value, not the actual password. Typing that value will never get you in.

One solution is to create a new install of MODX somewhere, carefully note the password, then copy the hash value from that DB to the one you're locked out of.

You may also have to change the value of the "Blocked" field from 1 to 0 and clear the cache manually, though usually you're only blocked for an hour.

            Here is the cmd_users table.
I can see the password in clear.
I do not see any Blocked field.
My customer is ready to pay for real help, but this can't be done on a forum.
Except for this question : Where can I find MODX version ? We are obviously not talking about the same one..

hash value: where can I find this and could you tell more how to do this. (for example how to clear cache manually)

              Thanks

              Kind regards, Henk-Jan
