Purpose - The development of a system to build individual multi-lingual web pages that contain a number of modular elements, with the ability to group these pages together to form different web sites. The system will be built using the MODx content management system. It will be possible to switch the page elements on and off for each page and, for some of the elements, to define their position on the page. All content within the elements will be entered from within MODx and the layout of the elements will be controlled from within MODx. You would need to work autonomously but would liaise with our in-house MODx developer.
The initial design layout has already been created (see below) and all the graphical elements will be supplied, it will be the job of the developer to use this design to build the HTML markup, apply the CSS and develop the interactive design to integrate the portal with various existing content, modules and sites.
