Good afternoon

,
(Using latest versions of php, apache, newsletter 0.2b and the wayfinder 1.0 that came included with modx-0.9.5)
I have managed to get newsletter installed and can successfully send html emails, and read the first page of the emails. The issue arises when customers read the email in hotmail, I can open the main page but the ditto links do not open properly in a new window. In gmail when I read the email it successfully opens the ditto links. Also works properly in yahoo email.
here’s the url I get when trying to open a ditto link in a hotmail email:
http://en/Home/News-Reports/China-biz-flash/123.html
and this is how it is supposed to look, and does look in gmail and yahoo:
http://www.bpochinanews.com/modx-0.9.5/en/Home/News-Reports/China-biz-flash/123.html
I am hardcoding in the $url in the newsletter snippet because I can’t get it to work any other way. Anyone have an idea on what can be changed to read ditto links in a hotmail message?
Here’s what the sending doc sections of the newsletter snippet look:
// Parser function to parse document page into html string
function parseWebPage($url,$siteurl) {
$assets = ’"’ .$siteurl .’/assets/’;
$spage = ’"’ .$siteurl;
$ch = curl_init();
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $url);
curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1);
$store = curl_exec ($ch);
$xml = curl_exec ($ch);
curl_close ($ch);
$xml = str_replace(’"assets/’, $assets, $xml);
$xml = str_replace(’"/assets/’, $assets, $xml);
$xml = str_replace(’"index.php’, $spage, $xml);
return $xml;
}
......and
case ’SubmitNewsDoc’:
$succeedFlag = true;
foreach($_POST[’contentdocs’] as $docid) {
$url = $modx->config["site_url"].ltrim($modx->makeUrl($docid), ’/’);
$siteurl = $modx->config["site_url"];
$webPageHtml = parseWebPage("
http://www.bpochinanews.com/modx-0.9.5/en/Home/News-Reports/China-biz-flash.html",$site_url);
if(!mailNewsletter($_POST[’from’], $_POST[’toemail’], $_POST[’tousers’], $_POST[’subject’], $webPageHtml, strtolower($_POST[’type’]))) {
$succeedFlag = false;
}
Can you see anything that could get the links to work properly?
Thanks,
Derek
