Could this be linked to 500 Internal Server Error.
The main problem is 500 Internal Server Error.

Sounds like you have a snippet with bad code. Snippet code is processed through the PHP eval() function.
As far as the 500 error problem, this is usually a problem with the .htaccess file.
It is almost certainly, as susan says, a result of a snippet with a php error in it.
First, you should check the php syntax of all your custom snippets, starting with the ones you know are called on the page you are visiting. There are a number of ways you could do that... hopefully you know at least one!
If you find a php syntax error and fix it, then try calling the page again and see if you have fixed the problem.
If not, you should then remove any custom snippet calls that may be triggered by the page you are visiting, and then reload the page (watch out for nested snippets). That should remove the 'unexpected ....' error. If you add your custom snippet calls back in one by one, reloading the page to find the one that triggers the error.
As for the 500 error, you should turn off friendly urls (FURL) in the system settings, and rename the .htaccess file to ht.access temporarily to see if this relieves the issue. If it does, then you know that the error is in your .htaccess file.
