getting tho serror in Mnager login - it used to work but now doesn't. No error message; the login box is re-diaplyed. The user/pass is OK - if I use a bad one it tells me.
Any ideas.
Thanks
See if anything here helps:

You'll get much better advice if you tell us exactly which version of MODX and whether it's an upgrade (from what version) or a new install.
HI,
sorry I'lll be a little clearer !
I'm probably out of my depth here so bear with me. I'm trying to help someone else out who has much less technical understanding than I do.
The version shown in the systems settings table is 1.0.4
Apache is version 2.2.1.7
PHP is version 5.3.3
As far as we know there have not been any changes (for many months) to any of the set up or configuration of the system. The site is hosted at NetLogistics and they say nothing has changed. I can use the cPanel and PHPMyAdmin to follow instructions if I need to.
The manager logon was working perfectly and then "suddenly last weekend" has stopped being accessible. If the correct user name/password is entered it just re-diaplys the manager logon screen. If I enter an invalid name or password it gives the correct error. If I look in the Manager Log table I can see entries for each time I log in which suggests it has logged in correctly.
If I turn on the error console in the browser I briefly see the error message: refused to set unsafe header "Connection"
Part of my problem is that I don't really know where the key components are located, i.e. where n the server in the event I need to edit any scripts.
Thanks for any help.
Have same bug
but
site.com/manager - have bug
www.site.com - no bug

That's usually an Ajax error, but I'm afraid I don't know where it might be coming from.
Try uncommenting the part of the .htaccess file that normalizes www versus non-www.
Back up .htaccess first.
