    Hey all,

I've got a project where we sell tickets over our website and I now have several options / need several options.
    We have this requirements:

    - we have 3 prices, each limited to a number of items
    - user can choose quantity of one product (starts with first, then after all are sold gets to next pricing / level / product)
    - user sees the total amount
    - user fills out a form with contact data etc.
    - then he sends the whole request
    - we now need to send the data to a different resource in MODX where we have a print template and the QR Code snippet to generate a PDF receipt with PDFlib for MODX
    - then we send the raw data and the pdf via e-mail to 3 email-adresses
    finished!

Do you have suggestions for me how to do that with MODX?
I don't like the way of shop systems like VisionCart but if it's the only possibility, I'd do it that way… would be cooler to do with FormIt etc but not sure if this would work.
Oh and I should note we don't have much money to spend for a system because it's mainly non-profit.

    Thanks a lot!

Unless I missed something, I don't see anything that couldn't easily be accomplished with some FormIt hooks and a custom table or two for holding your product data. I guess you could even set the products up as resources if you only have a handful and don't expect more in future...

Okay, thank you. I talked with bertoost about a valuable solution and I decided to use SimpleCart for the payment-process and a custom snippet + custom table for the counter. With FormIt we do all the other things we need smiley
Maybe I can write a summary after finishing. smiley

I'm interested in knowing how you going to generate the PDF from MODx that would be a great tutorial.

Sure. After finishing the project and maybe one or two more weeks I will write it up.
