I am back again for perhaps the third time.
I have a few times worked with Modx Revo and have given up because of the complexity and lack of an easy to follow lesson plan on getting into the Modx Revolution CMS.
I am writing the above because I want to again approach Modx and give it another try. The last time I put together a bunch of written tutorials that that I at the time posted (perhaps a year or so ago) I still have on my computer.
This is what I would like to do. I would like to de-complex modx creating video tutorials. Easy to understand, easy to get into material. I use this site

There has to be a way to get the complexity down for modx Revo. To make it more designer friendly. From looking at the forum choices there are so many areas to post in that I am just making the best guess that I can to where to post this. I do understand that the more choices, a deeper level of customization can be done which results in a higher learning curve. Maybe I should just stick with using Wordpress and my own custom html pages and skip Modx, but I do believe that Modx Revo will help me in my web design needs (which are not that advanced: a few regular html pages, a blog, video, images, forum, etc).
I would like to get back into the modx revo kindergarden and begin with the basic needs. I want to create a web site. How do I do this with Modx Revo? Please no overload of information, just a few basic create a modx site in 20 minuttes video tutorials showing how to create a template, pages, wayfinder etc. The stuff one needs to know to create a site. The less info the better. I found the beginners guide

How to I approach a massive mountain of information Modx has become so that I do not become overloaded by information? How do I find the smooth pathway leading up the mountain?
