A simple custom table in the database

Hi!

I'm trying to make a simple table in the Revo-database. It is just going to contain som values - the fields are an 'id' and a 'name' - and it is not going to have any foreign keys.

Now my problem is access... I don't get how I make this table available to the xPDO. I've read the tutorials on custom tables and they all seem to presume I'm making a package with Snippets etc.

Any ideas as to how I can access, and maybe create this table using the API?
