I haven’t found this yet, but I would like to see the css editable in the Manager so I don’t have to go through ftp anymore to upload my edited CSS file.

Is this available? Or does it belong on the wishlist.

If you can edit teh HTML you should be able to edit the CSS in one place as well.

    Thanks!!!

Search for using a "document as CSS" or use the file manager and make sure permissions are set to allow modifications.

Only if you want to store and deliver the CSS from the database via MODx, which takes additional resources and overhead than you generally don’t want to bootstrap just to deliver files as small as a CSS generally is (similar issues for js files, etc.). I would much rather Apache (or insert favorite web server here) serve those requests and save the content management processing for my marked-up content.

Of course, I also only use the manager to cut and paste HTML content once I’ve authored it in my favorite IDE, and all my snippets and plugins are included rather than stored in the database, so take this all with a grain of salt, and feel free to follow your own path with MODx, since you can. wink
