Modx is inserting \ before every

    If I edit a template to -
    <div style=""></div>


    When I save it and click it again to view it has changed, see below -
    <div style=\"\"></div>


    I've tried upgrading the manager files but with no effect. The only thing I can think of now it to start from scratch and build all the components back into a new install.

      You probably have "magic quotes" enabled in your PHP settings. These should be disabled in PHP.ini or .htaccess file if that's not open to you.

        I have another modx site installed on the same server but this is unaffected so not sure if that is the issue.

          I would come to the same conclusion as kp52.

          Could contact your hoster to ask about that.
