TV and parent->child heritage

I would like to define a TV for a parent, so that all childen will inherit this tv (current and future children), but I don’t want the parent itself to use this TV.

How can I accomplish that?

Yes, and how to define an @INHERIT binding without affecting the parent itself?

Set the TV’s default value to be @INHERIT. For the parent, you must define the the value. You may need to create multiple templates, both with the TV assigned to it, but not having it actually in the parent template.
