Might seem a bit of an odd question, but is there anyway to integrate moodle within modx? does it sound possible? basically, I currently have two sites (with the same branding and theme) - one is a VLE (using Moodle) and the other is ModX based. What I want to do is somehow be able to manage everything via Modx. Any thoughts? Links to guides on going about integrating the two? Or should I just stick with keeping them separate?
Stick with keeping them separate. MODx is great at managing content, Moodle is great at making e-learning sites, CubeCart is great at making e-commerse sites, SMF is great in making forums.. etc. It’s better to use separate tools that are designed to do what you want and do good job with it. Style each one to look the same and try to do unified user accounts if possible. That would be my suggestion.
