Send mail problem

    I have a big problem: It seems that my ModX cant send mail...

    Here some information bout client and server:
    Server:
    PHP Version 5.2.1
    Linux Server

    Client:
    Firefox 2.0.0.2
    WinXP Pro

    ModX 0.9.5

    When i try to register a user via webSignup Snippet i get a MessageWindow with this error: "Error while sending mail to " without any email or anything else. When i go to the frontend i’ll find the user registered as if there wasn’t any problem at all....
    So, everything else seems to work well...
    Since there is something wrong with the mail sending part i have also a problem with Jot, as i wrote already in another thread regarding that other problem.
    Please if someone could help me solve this problem as i’m getting crazy :/

        Yes, check that thread. Hope it helps. In my case it does not (see my post there).

          No :/ It didn’t help....
          I’m still getting the same error, without any email address nor anything else.

          What i noticed is that the line (hope it is the right one) must have been modified since then because mine is:

          	if ((ini_get('safe_mode') == FALSE && !mail($email, $emailsubject, $message, "From: " . $emailsender . "\r\n" . "X-Mailer: Content Manager - PHP/" . phpversion())) || !mail($email, $emailsubject, $message, "From: " . $emailsender . "\r\n" . "X-Mailer: Content Manager - PHP/" . phpversion())) {


          and it is on line 460

          Please if someone has some more ideas about where the problem could be....

          ...i already deleted the part that was to delete here....
          Thats the original one:

          And again....
          there is another file, named: save_web_user.processor.php
          I found the same line there too, changed that one either but still no result...
