    Hello all.
    So in my perpetual quest to make the MODx backend as "idiot-proof" as possible, I’d like to create a custom manager homepage. Something that could have, for example...
    * brief welcome text,
    * links to non-MODx resources (like custom docs I put together for the client),
    * quick links to create new documents in certain folders,
    * quick links to edit select chunks,
    * etc.

    Creating the actual page isn’t going to be a problem, but I can’t figure out how to tie an event to an "OnManagerHomePageInit" event or something. I’m pretty sure could hack away at the core, but I don’t want to do that. As it is now I can’t figure out where to start.

    Thoughts?
    Thanks.

      Hi Brett,

      Alter the welcome.html template in the specific Manager style folder. No hacking needed, and you should recognize the syntax/placeholders. smiley
