First of all many thanks to all those who have helped me get through my test projects so far - I continue to be impressed by everything about MODx.
Just wondered of there was a way to add the sum of 2 or more template variable fields to to enable some sort of online invoice form. Maybe adding a %age for Tax to the end result? Also add the document number to a field somewhere to act as the invoice number?
It occurred to me that MODx could be perfect for doing my invoicing online (password protected) as currently I’m printing out 3 copies of each invoice and it is a real waste. My idea is to use a print button to create PDFs of invoices and also give my accountant access to the invoices online. It would save loads of time, paper and ink!
I’m a designer and can’t speak PHP too well so any ideas?
