Setting up back office pages : what's possible ? Best strategy ?

We are developping a website with a front office and a back office for a customer with Modx 0.95.

We created (BO) pages to manage products (using eForm/eForm2DB). These pages have forms to create/edit/delete entries in the DB.

Unfortunately, we could not find a way to integrate these pages into the manager (they appear as other ’content’ pages in the manager : they are editable but can not be used as BO pages). We would like to use the manager to access these BO pages to manage the DB content but not to edit the BO page itself. (Of course, these BO pages would be editable with another profile).

Is it possible to add custom pages in the manager’s menu ?
Or is this a dead end ?

How do you set your BO pages ? Do you create a Front Office site and a BO site (and keep the Modx Manager as a developper’s BO) ?
