Hi all.

I have a simple question. I’ve for example this documents in the documents tree:

• Home
• Clients
[li]Registration
• Login
• Status
[/li]
[li]Contacts[/li]
And i’ve one web users called "Client".

The question is:

Is possible that the public user can see a menu tree like this:

• Home
• Clients
[li]Registration
[/li]
[li]Contacts[/li]
and the "Client" user can see a menu tree like this:

• Home
• Clients
[li]Login
• Status
[/li]
[li]Contacts[/li]
If yes, how can I do it?

Thanks a lot

p.s. ModX is the best

The client would need to login to see the ’Status’ page, which means you would need to create a web user group for the clients and then assign the ’Status’ page to that group. That way, when the client logs in, it will appear only to him as he is a member of the ’Client’ group.

Yes perfect, but the "Client" user must not see the Registration page. Is that possible?

I believe that can be done by using templates. If you assign the Public pages to one template so that the ’Register’ shows up, then assign a duplicate template to show up once they are registered, just without the ’Register’ portion, it should work.

I’m still fairly new to MODx also, so I’m not sure if there is another, better way, possibly using a TV (template variable) might work also so that it senses when a client is logged in and then doesn’t show the ’Register’ on their page. I’m not sure how that would be done, however.

Hope that helps a little more, and maybe one of the more fluent MODx gurus can help out here.
