calculation with ID ?

May be this is already seen.. but ..

I’m still wondering ig this is possible :

How to make a simple calculation with ID..

I explain :

If I just wanna put a single link to relative pages that is 1 or, maybe, 2 level up the current page ( something like "back to here") is there any means to tell a formula like (this id) minus (2) . See ? (+ or - any number )

I would think you could create a snippet that gets the current items ID subtract the necessary number and output the new number.

This way you could do something like this

<a href="[[SNIPPETNAME]]">Back to home</a>
