    I’m having trouble with my site displaying in IE7 or Safari.

    http://beta.learningforward.com

    I figured it is a problem with my stylesheets, as the pages appear if the template is set to ’blank’.

    However, when I tried my templates with blank stylesheets, the pages still did not work in IE7. So maybe the template is fouled up? huh

    I’ve also stripped my template of all these lines with no success:
    [tt]
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="[(base_url)]assets/templates/learningforward/learning_forward_default.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="[(base_url)]assets/templates/learningforward/learning_section_home.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="[(base_url)]assets/templates/learningforward/print.css" media="print" />

    <script src="assets/templates/learningforward/site_code.js" type="text/javascript" >
    [/tt]??? huh

    Has anyone seen this before?

    I’ve included a template below for those interested in this mystery (The stylesheet is also available, but it’s inclusive made this post run WAY too long).

    Thanks!

      Start with closing your script tag:

      <script src="assets/templates/learningforward/site_code.js" type="text/javascript" >

      Then validate. That’s very likely 100% validation related, and the XHTML and CSS Validators would have caught it.

        In the words of Charlie Brown... "Good Grief!"

        What a newbie mistake!

        Thanks rthrash. I guess I’ve just been starring at this too long.
