    Hello,

Is there anyway to set relative links within FCKeditor or Tiny MCE? Basically we have a site we have done for a charity, they want to duplicate a directory (and everything in it) but name it something else, obviously when they do this the links on the page will need changing which is going to be a massive job for them. I would like the links within that directory to just be links within that directory without having to use the full address of the page, so when the directory and contents are copied the links should work.

I don’t know if this is possible or not, can anyone help? huh

    Thanks
    Sian

ps. using Modx 0.9.5 with friendly URL’s on

      Hello,

I’m not sure if I’ve confused people with how I’ve worded my post so I’ll try again smiley

The problem is with links within sub-directories and getting the FCK Editor link button (or the link button within tiny mce) to use the current directory as the *root* directory, rather than linking to the actual root of the site.

      For example-

      Root
      ---Location1
      ----- page 1
      ----- page 2
      ----- page 3
      ---Location2
      ----- page 1
      ----- page 2
      ----- page 3

I want the person editing Location1 to be able to use the link button within the WYSIWYG, however the link starts at the Root and ideally it needs to start at Location1 (or whichever location that person is editing) - they do not have html skills so will not be able to code the link manually. Which should mean when they duplicate a location the links will automatically work within the duplicated location.

I hope that this makes a little more sense!

If anyone has any ideas about how to get round this it would be greatly appreciated!

      Many thanks,
      Sian
