I thought I had this covered....

    What I want:

    Frontend
    Document Type 1:
Documents are Public pages, view for all

    Document Type 2:
Documents are User pages, view only for logged in webusers

In the Manager, I’ve created a webusergroup called Webusers.

    Manager

Let’s say I have 1 admin and 6 editors, who all need to edit (and see) only their section.

In the Manager, I’ve create 6+1 usergroups, 1 for each editor and 1 admingroup.

AFAIK, webuser management and manageruser management share the same documentgroups. Therefore, I’ve created 6+1 documentgroups, 1 for each editor and 1 admingroup. Next, I’ve created links between the manager usergroups and documentgroups.

I thought this was all working fine, until I started to tinker with PPP and actually tried to make some pages for webusers only and wreaked havoc on the site. I had to change some stuff and then I read this(http://modxcms.com/why-web-users-and-web-groups.html):

Note: A document is flagged as private whenever the document group that it belongs to is assigned or is linked to a user group. In other words if the document is assigned to a document group that is not yet linked to a user group then that document will be made public. Documents that are private to the manager users will not be private to web users if the document group is not assigned to a web user group and vice versa.

I’m now completely lost. Can somebody hint at the direction I need to take to accomplish the above?
    Thanks.
