Jot doesn't appear to be working

i get this error msg and its the latest Jot version and yes it has been updated in both the assets/ and the snippet

figured it out, in the default template on a new modx install, the chunk code has ([snippet]) so i removed the ( ) and now its working 

update:  apparently i spoke too soon, error msg appeared again

ok now it works changed the verison check info
