Manager doesn't work after switching servers

Hi,
I just switched servers, I have upgraded (versions) and switched servers before without incident but this time when I try to save any changes made from within the manager I get the following error.

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /manager/index.php could not be found on this server.

Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.xxx.xxx Port 80
........
this is obviously a configuration problem because the site still works on my WAMP set up, but I am stuck on ideas of where to look next to fix the problem.

The site works fine when accessed from the web, I don’t get any other errors. I can login to the manager, and view any document, module, snippet etc. but if I try to save any changes the above error occurs.

I did see this post which seems be the same query, but it’s in russian and after translating the text into english it made even less sense to me.

Anybody speak russian & english that can help me out? or someone who has encountered the same problem before, any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that was indeed the problem.

I added the code as instructed in the post and it works fine.
