Just trying to use tinyMCE as an end user might do (trying to decide whether one of my clients will be able to handle MODX or not!). Where does tinyMCE pull the classes for the drop down in the insert image dialogue from, because I’m not seeing any at the moment. I would really like them to pull them from a dedicated CSS file that deals just with image positioning and nothing else - where should this CSS file live please somebody...anybody?
Good question! I’ve been working on the newest version of the TinyMCE plugin so...this a good feature to look into. Lemme lookup an answer for you and get back to you. Should be very similar to how the Styles dropdown is populated though.

I’ve literally just this minute found the section in the manager that sort of deals with this. Under tools>configuration>TinyMCE settings there’s an input box for defining selectors against a display name. This will serve for the present, but it would be good to be able to link to a discreet CSS file at some point in the future.
There’s also a advimage_styles option that will also add image specific classes to the styles dropdown list in an Insert Image dialog box. I’ll add this option in as part of the plugin config for the next upcoming version.
