Hey guys. I was testing, debugging and customizing Modx on my server which uses php 5 and it worked fine. I uploaded to my php 4 server, and I get this error in the logs.
[Wed Feb 7 02:50:56 2007] [error] [client 72.68.187.13] Premature end of script headers: /home/aseainfo/public_html/index-ajax.php
???Help
Did you upload index.php in the root directory? Most people don’t use index-ajax.php. You may just need to upload the main index.php file and make sure that your server loads it as its directory index.

I believe that the AjaxSearch snippet uses it. Make sure it got uploaded properly, or remove the AjaxSearch snippet calls from your templates.
index.php is uploaded and same error. Index.php on manager gives the same error as well.
Is there some problem with php4?

Generically, "php4" is quite unspecific. In fact it could be many other things. Please see the stickied topic of the complete information we need (In General Support).

This seems to me to be more likely to be related to the change in server and not specifically your version of PHP. Is your .htaccess file correct for this server? Did you update your config.inc.php file for the new database connection? Are you sure that you uploaded all of the files (and that the text files were uploaded in ascii mode)? Can you load any other test html or php file, or does your server throw a 500 error no matter what it tries to load?
Figured it out.
Wierdest thing.
If the files werent set to 755 Permissions it gave an Internal 500 Server Error.
I changed all the directorys and files to 755 and it worked perfectly.
Freaking wierd.
