This is my first website with MODx and I’m pretty jazzed about this framework already. I was able to get the Ditto and Wayfinder snippets working as desired but I’m struggling a bit with how to best implement the client’s design in a way that will make updates and additions the easiest for them.

You can view a semi-static version here: http://208.112.80.109/index.php?id=4

The sequence will go as follows:

    1. Starting from a ’category index’ page, click the Mall of America link, which takes you to...
    2. The ’case study detail’ page. Clicking the thumbnails will replace the center image with full-size versions.
    3. The ’award winner’ link will replace the center image with a related ’news’ article.

Ideally, I would like to simply read the image directory, there could be always be a limit of eight images, and then populate the center image with a full-size #1 and the thumbnails would fill the table on the right. The image directory could be structured to match the case study heirarchy.

This way the client simple uploads new images into the newly created directory, uses the manager to create and add the new case study page, pastes the copy and they’re done.

Could this be done with what’s currently available in MODx or am I looking at some custom scripting or snippet? Or, is there a better/different way to do this in the existing framework?

    Thanks!
