and I can’t see why. After upgrading from 0.9.5 RC2 locally and from 0.9.2 at the hosting provider both to 0.9.5 the "remember me" checkbox at manager login mask doesn’t work. Any ideas?

And: YES I searched this forum. There was a thread for an upgrade to 0.9.2 with a solution in clearing the cache. It doesn’t help in this case. "Remember me" doesn’t work in IE and FF.

Local server is xampp on windows, hosted server is a linux/apache.

Perhaps you could try clearing your cookies in your browser?

Sorry, it was late yesterday. I meant clearing the cookies and not the cache. Cleared all but doesn’t worked.

I would check for the following:

            - are the cookies actually written and are they still there after closing and restarting the browser?

Testing: logged in with IE7: 2 cookies written: for .../manager/ and for .../manager/includes/
Logged out: only 1 cookie for .../manager/includes/
Browser closed and re-opened: same cookie for .../manager/includes/

What should this say to me?

The cookie relevant for the automated login seems to be the one for /manager/, with an expire date set one week from now.

If I remove that one, I’m no longer logged in on my next visit. So for whatever reason, that cookie seems to get deleted on your system when closing the browser. I have no explanation for this behavior. What expire date has the /manager/ cookie in your case?

In Firefox I can (logged in) see 3 cookies, all the same name and content:
                  - path 1: / (expires one week from now)
                  - path 2: /manager/ (expires one week from now)
                  - path 3: /manager/includes/ (expires at the end of the session)

Logged out (also browser closed/re-opened) there are 2 cookies left:
                  - path 1: / (expires one week from now)
                  - path 3: /manager/includes/ (expires at the end of the session)

The "manager" cookie is missing. This should be the problem but what is the solution?

                  @nightsignals: tnx for this tip.

Has anyone a tip, what (and why) deletes my manager cookies after log-out with "remember me" set at log-in? Both cookies (manager and manager/includes) have an expiration date a week later but are gone away after logging out.
This is independent on browser, operating system, hardware, internet connection, ...
