That would be Firefox 2.0.0.1 running on Win 2000 pro.

If I click on say "resources" then only that frame opens up in Firefox, as in no top menu and no left side ’tree’ menu.

A possible cause could be the ftp program I was using to upload ModX in the first place, I still haven’t managed to master ’Total Commander’ and although my tech friend swears by it, it seems not to want to upload complete directories, even once I found the "passive mode".

Ok, I had this problem with a fresh install, I re-uploaded and re-installed and the problem went away. I now noticed this on a site I was developing a few weeks ago. I tried re-uploading Modx but everything went a bit pear shaped, so I re-uploaded the back-up I had made.,,

.... funny thing is, the problem doesn’t eventuate in win IE 6.

    How to troubleshoot?

That and closing all the other open Firefox windows did the trick.

        Thanks ( once again ).

Nice and easy one on the degree of difficulty scale smiley
